Welcome. Today we are going to setup your Brother device for printing on a Google Chromebook computer.

This video will cover multiple models for your Google Chromebook. Even though your machine may not match the model shown on the screen the overall process is still the same.

Not all Brother devices are compatible with Google Chromebook printing. Follow the link on the screen to find compatibility information for your model.

Before installing, you will need to make sure your Brother printer is set up on your wireless network. For instructions on wireless setup follow the link on the screen.

If you are using a Dual Band router, make sure your Chromebook is connected to the 2.4GHz band. If you are connected to the 5GHz band of your network, the Brother printer will not be discovered. Follow the link on the screen for more information about your Brother device and a Dual Band router.

Begin by clicking the Task Tray and selecting the Settings option. Click Advanced and then click Printing.

Now click on Printers

Select your Brother Device and click Add or Save. If your Brother device is not listed, you will need to verify that it is connected to the same network as your Chromebook.

Once your Brother device has been added, the setup is complete.
