Hello Friends! This is PC Mentor.and today I will show you how to FIX the USB of the incorrect size problem.So let’s get started. This is the USB of the incorrect sizeas I Have to open itNow i am gonna check it’s propertiesso here as you can see. it is only of SIZE 2 MB so click ok Now i am going to format it.so the formating is completed and it is again showing the incorrect sizeso, now let’s move to the solution.Open the Command PromptWith Administrative privileges.Click on YES.And Here we go!Now enter this Command diskpartNow our current working directory is changing to disk part.now type the second command.list diskit will list all drives connected to your PC.so now as you can see here. The USB of incorrect Size.and in CMD it shows of 64GB my pen drive.Now type select disk 1so, disk 1 is selected nowjust type ‘clean’and hit ENTERso it will clean disk 1now type ‘create partition primary’ and hit enterso now typeformat fs=ntfsyou can also format it with fat32formating is being started and its completion depends on the size of USBin my case, as you see! it is of the size 64GBso it takes longer time.formating is 100% completed.Now type ‘assign’ & hit enternow I am gonna close CMD WindowAnd here as you see the USB is restored to its original sizeIf?
