If you are having trouble seeing or clicking on the scrollbars in your Windows programs, then it’s very easy to increase their size to make them easier to see and use. All you need to do is perform a simple registry edit, add the new width and then log out and back in.

If you are using Windows 11 and change the scrollbar width, you will no longer have the overlay style scrollbars and will instead have the Windows 10 style scrollbars.

Here is the section in the registry you need to go to.

Computer//HKEY_CURRENT_USER//Control Panel//Desktop//WindowMetrics

Then you need to change the values for ScrollHeight and ScrollWidth to a larger negative number. I would start with -500 for both.
