How To Block Someone On Gmail
If you want to block someone on Gmail, click the top right gearbox, and click Settings.
Click Filters.
Click ‘Create a New Filter’.
In the ‘From’ section, put the person’s email address you want to block.
Click ‘Create Filter with this Search’.
Here you see /”From: email address you want to block/”.
You can set it to filter out several different actions.
But if you want to block someone on Gmail, click on ‘Delete it’.
Click ‘Create Filter’.
Before you do that, you have an option to /”Apply filter to matching conversations./”
You may have some emails from that previous email address that you may want to delete, so click that box.
Once ready, click ‘Create Filter’.
You can see the blocked email here.
That’s it, now every time you get an email from that email address, it will be deleted right away – effectively blocking the email address completely.
