Learn how to backup Outlook emails, contacts and data using a built-in feature that can export all Outlook data to a PST file. In this video, I’ll give you a step-by-step demonstration of how the process works in the latest 2023 version of Microsoft Outlook 365 for Windows. The process is similar on the older versions as well. This procedure can be used to backup Microsoft 365 email boxes and you can essentially use this procedure to perform an office 365 mailbox backup.

You can use this method to move Outlook data to different computer or you can simply keep historical copies of you Outlook folders for future reference and backup purposes.

NOTE: The App version of Outlook and the /”New Outlook/” version currently DO NOT support exporting data to a PST file. Microsoft said that they might add the Export feature sometime in the future.
