This is a video tutorial on how to add a custom border in Microsoft Word. I will be using a transparent PNG as a border image. I will be using Word 365 on a desktop PC for this tutorial.
Simple Steps
1. Open your project in Microsoft Word.
2. Click on the /”Design/” tab.
3. On the far right of the ribbon, click on /”Watermark/”
4. At the bottom click on /”Custom Watermark/”
5. In the dialog box that opens, toggle on /”Picture Watermark/”.
6. Click on /”Select Picture/”.
7. Click on /”From A File/”.
8. Locate the image on your device and click on /”Insert/”.
9. Uncheck /”Washout/” click on /”Apply/” and then close the dialog box
10. To adjust the image, double click on the head area and then click on your image. Now pull out on the anchor points on the image.
11. In the ribbon, click on /”Close Header And Footer/” to escape out of it.
12 Click on the /”Layout/” tab and then click on /”Margins/” to adjust the margins to your desire.
