Error: Error: Word Could Not Create the Work File. Check Temp Environment Variable

These are the things you need to find the variable in the registry editor (regedit) and the variable content you will usually find there:

Win / Regedit
Computer//HKEY_CURRENT_USER//Software//Microsoft//Windows//CurrentVersion//Explorer//User Shell Folders (name: cache) copy content from there
User Shell Folders
%USERPROFILE%//AppData//Local//Microsoft//Windows//INetCache//Content.Word

It solved the problem for me and I hope it will do the job for you too ;-))
