In this video I’ll show a live demo of how it appears that the extension of ChromeOS update life we saw back in September 2024 from June 2033 to June 2035 on Chromebooks with the Intel Core i3-N305, Intel N100, and Intel N200 processors (e.g. with the ‘Nissa’ board) appears to have reverted back to June 2033 when checking via the Chromebook itself. Note, as I mention Google’s Support page with the ‘AUE dates’ never actually changed from being 2033 to 2035, so was it a mistake all along(?)

Full transparency – I had to cut a section out the middle of the video which was me just hitting refresh a lot and waffling on. No change to what I showed happening.
