What is Submachine?
Submachine is a new plugin by Creative Workflow Solutions for Premiere Pro that lets you create fast word by word, karaoke style, animation subtitles or captions for your social videos. It’s a game changer and something you all have been asking for, for a long time! It works by converting your .srt captions into timed motion graphics templates. It now comes with 7 different caption animation styles that you can customize and use in your social videos.

After testing Submachine, I found that it works best for shorter social videos for Reels, Shorts. If you need to use it on a longer video, I recommend creating a subsequence of just the portion you want to add captions to.
