This is a fix to a common issue that Windows Management Instrumentation would consume a great deal of processing power (the process name is WmiPrvSE.exe). This tutorial should help identify the problem that is causing high CPU usage. I would advise to look through the list of programs that are affected by this process and see if any programs on that list can be uninstalled (temporarily) to see if the problem goes away. If the problem goes away, consider staying away from those respective programs.
Note if this process is disabled, security center will be turned off (meaning that monitoring for status of virus/spyware protection, windows update, and among other things will be disabled). Disabling should be a last resort.
This tutorial was performed on a Windows 10 computer. This will work with all major computer manufactures that are running Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 operating systems (Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Samsung, and so forth)
