This gave me a massive headache, so to save you some pain in this video, I will show you step by step how to transfer your save data from the PS4 version of the Witcher 3 to the PS5 version.

This also works for cross platform saves as such as Xbox to Playstation as well as cross gen Witcher 3 saves

Steps:
00:00 – Have PS4 & PS5 versions installed and updated to v4.00
00:32 – On PS4 make a save game for v4.00 (Important) (released with next gen update)
01:16 – Still on PS4, click on My Rewards and register via unique URL
02:00 – Cross progression enabled and cloud save active
02:30 – On PS5 version, click on My Rewards again and follow steps again
03:00 – Save is transferred to PS5
03:25 – PS5 version using PS4 save data
04:01 – New Game+ option (requires completed vanilla game save for Witcher 3)
