In a video a couple of weeks ago I showed you how to install Windows 10 on your Chromebook using KVM. KVM stands for Kernal-based Virtual Machine and it allows you to install other operating systems without removing ChromeOS.

If you have managed to install Windows on your Chromebook using KVM you may have come across some errors. The first error you may come up against is ‘Error starting domain: Requested operation is not valid: Network ‘default’ is not active.

This error message stops you from running Windows on ChromeOS. Luckily you can easily fix this error, and I go through how to do this in the video.

I will also show you how to increase or decrease your Windows install disk size. This is important if you want to install programs in Windows and you don’t have enough disk space.

We’ll then take a look at how Windows runs in ChromeOS and some tips on how to get the best out of running Windows on your Chromebook using KVM.
