A new and simpler guide on how to access safe mode in windows 10 as well as get F8 back!

Method 1 (safe mode):
Go to start, power and hold shift while clicking restart.
When menu appeares go to troubleshoot then advanced options then startup settings and restart.
Press F4 for safe mode (5 for networking, 6 for Command Prompt).

Method 2 (Get F8 back):
Open any command prompt as admin
Type /”bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy/”
Restart
Press F8 as soon as you see the post screen (motherboaord start screen)
Use arrow keys to navigate and enter to select option

Command p[rompt from any install media:
Boot from install media
Choose language then next
Click Repair your computer, then troubleshoot, advanced option and then command prompt
