In this video the tutor compares similar tasks in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and LibreOffice Calc. The tutor starts off in Excel and creates a small weekly budget sheet. The tutor uses colour and number formats as well as simple sums and AutoSum. The tutor then repeats the process in Libreoffice Calc, then the final section uses Google sheets to demonstrate the simple budget. The tutor mentions that Excel is the world leader but LibreOffice Calc is very similar and free. Google Sheet is very good at the basic level but falls down a little with more advanced features.
