In October 1988 Next sold 433 jewellery stores in the United Kingdom, which principally traded under the Salisburys and Zales brands, to the Ratners Group for US$232 million. The company bought the youth brand Lipsy in 2008.

Dresses are great quality and look 10x more expensive than they are. sizes seem to fit perfectly. The shoes are also fabulous, sizes seem to fit me well and shoes look worth way more too! If I could upload a picture of the shoes, I would because they are very impressive, Lipsy!

It has a general statement about minimising animal suffering but not a formal animal welfare policy. It uses leather, wool and exotic animal hair. It uses down accredited by the Responsible Down Standard. It does not use fur, angora or exotic animal skin.
