The Queens’ Bedroom is on the second floor of the White House, part of a guest suite of rooms that includes the Queens’ Sitting Room.

The White House consists of three major parts: the East Wing, the West Wing, and the Residence.

The building continues to house various agencies that comprise the Executive Office of the President, such as the White House Office, the Office of the Vice President, the Office of Management and Budget, and the National Security Council.

the East Room
Off the landing to the right is the East Room. The largest of the state rooms, it was designed by James Hoban and George Washington to be a “Public Audience Room.”

The Vice President’s Ceremonial Office In addition to the Vice President’s Office in the West Wing, the Vice President and his or her staff maintain a set of offices in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building (EEOB), located next to the West Wing on the White House premises.

The swimming pool at the White House, the official residence of the president of the United States, is located on the South Lawn near the West Wing.

Cabinet-level positions include the secretary of state and the secretary of labor. The secretary of state works with other countries around the world. This person manages the president’s foreign policies.

The President’s Bedroom is a second floor bedroom in the White House. The bedroom makes up the White House master suite along with the adjacent sitting room and the smaller dressing room, all located in the southwest corner.
