On the Internet, flamebait is a “posting” or note on a Web site discussion forum, an online bulletin board, a Usenet newsgroup, or other public forum that is intended to elicit the extremely strong responses characteristic of flaming and active public discussions.

A flame is the visible part of a fire. It gives light and heat. It is the result of an exothermic reaction. The color and temperature of a flame depend on the type of fuel that is used to make the fire. A blue or white flame is often very hot, while a red, orange, or yellow flame is less hot.

Flame People (or Fire People) are humanoid beings whose bodies are composed of fire or other fire-related materials such as magma. Most hail from the Fire Kingdom and exhibit a varying degree of control over fire.

When something is burnt, a hot luminous gas emerges out of the substance. This gas is called as flame. Flames are result of the substances which vaporizes on burning. Example includes kerosene oil, wax, etc.

Fire watch is when a person is assigned to keep watch on hot work and fire hazards in an area that does not have automatic fire warning systems or fire suppression systems. The area to be watched for fire is patrolled by the fire watch personnel and action taken in the event of a fire.

It is used to signify that something is cool, awesome, exciting, or more colloquially, “on fire.” It can also convey that someone is sexy, (i.e., hot), or refer to other various metaphorical fires.

As the wax melts into a liquid, it gets pulled up into the wick through capillary action to feed the flame. But if the flame gets either too much or too little air or wax, it can flicker or flare-up. This can also happen if the wick is too long, as the wax has to travel a length that affects the stability of the flame.

If you find that your candle flames are burning too high, there are two potential causes. One potential cause is that the wick is too “thick” — a decision by the manufacturer you can’t do much about. The other potential, and more common, cause is that the wick is too long and needs to be trimmed.

The primary cause of black smoke is an overly long wick. When a candle burns, the wax near the flame melts and the liquid wax is pulled up the wick to feed the flame. If the wick is too long, the balance of heat and fuel will be off. This throws off the chemical reaction and can produce excess soot and smoke.

The flame itself is a region of high heat in relatively cool surroundings. Because the heated gasses from the flame are much less dense than the surrounding air, there is a region of updraft at the flame and convection around it. Essentially it makes its own “wind” that causes the flame to flicker.

If you put the candle in the freezer it may well crack. If the candle is perfumed the scent in the candle may migrate that instead of being evenly distributed around the wax it can move to the sides and top.

THE BURN TIME Because expensive candles use a better quality of fragrance, you don’t have to burn them for very long to fill your entire space with the fragrant aroma of your absurdly over-priced candle. The candles that I have are actually so fragrant that they fill up my rooms with scent just by sitting on a shelf.
