Monologue is a speech spoken by a character to their self, another character, or to the audience.

It was used more in the 19th century. The fourth wall extended the idea of an imaginary boundary between any fictional work and its audience. If an actor speaks directly to the audience, does something to the audience, or even simply notices the audience, it is known as “breaking the fourth wall”.

Anyone can train to be an actor, anyone can learn the skills required. Personally, I think if acting ISN’T the capacity to BELIEVE in the imaginary and act upon your capacity for delusion, then yes, it’s possible that anyone can be an actor. You can learn it, you just might not be the best in the world.

A soliloquy is a longer speech that a character gives onstage that no one else can hear. No one except the audience, that is. Soliloquies may be spoken directly to the audience. Most often, a soliloquy is a character speaking to himself or herself.

Because soliloquies allow the audience to know what a character is thinking or feeling, a soliloquy often creates dramatic irony, as the audience is made aware of thoughts and events that the other characters in the play are not. Soliloquies were once very common in dramas—they appear frequently in Shakespeare.

Explanation: In the passive voice the subject is placed at the end as an agent as ‘by me’ in the sentence and the object ‘this work’ is at the beginning. The active verb now becomes passive with an auxiliary verb before it. Thus ‘do’ becomes ‘can be done’.
