When you first start photography, you focus on dialing in ISO, aperture, and shutter speed to properly expose your images. As you advance, you’ll learn not only how to use the settings to get proper exposure but also how to do so AND give your images a more creative look.

Two of the most common ways to do this are to open up the aperture to create background blur or increase the shutter speed to create motion blur, but the possibilities are endless.
