FreeFileSync is a free Open Source software that helps you to
synchronize files and folders in Windows, Ubuntu Linux and MAC.
You can also run it in in real time following the instructions on their website or help file.
Do a backup of your files and folders etc. before using the program unless you are familiar with its use.
For Windows – install as a local install or portable as indicated on prompt during install.
For Ubuntu – launch terminal and then run these commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:freefilesync/ffs
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install freefilesync
For MAC – once downloaded, via launchpad.
Then run FreeFileSync or RealtimeSync as explained in the video
