Steps to Start Page Numbers from a Specific Page:
Open your Document in MS Word: Open the document where you want to insert page numbers starting from a specific page.

Place Your Cursor Where You Want the Page Number to Start: Place the cursor at the beginning of the page where you want to start numbering (for example, if you want to start from page 3, place the cursor at the beginning of page 3).

Insert a Section Break:

Go to the /”Layout/” tab on the Ribbon.
Click /”Breaks/” and select /”Continues/” under the Section Breaks category. This will create a new section where page numbering can begin.
Go to the Header or Footer:

Double-click the header or footer area of the page where you want to start page numbering. This opens the Header & Footer Tools tab.
Unlink the Header/Footer from the Previous Section:

On the Header & Footer Tools tab, click /”Link to Previous/” to turn it off. This will unlink the current section from the previous one, so the page number will start fresh.
Insert Page Numbers:

Click on /”Page Number/” in the Header & Footer section of the Ribbon.
Choose the page number format and position you prefer (top or bottom of the page).
Format the Page Numbers (Optional):

After inserting page numbers, click /”Page Number/” again, and then select /”Format Page Numbers/”.
In the pop-up window, select /”Start at/” and set the number to the number you want to start from (e.g., start at 1 or 3).
Exit the Header/Footer:

Double-click outside the header or footer to exit the editing mode.
Additional Tips:
To remove page numbers from the previous section (like the cover page or table of contents), go to that section’s header/footer, unlink it, and delete the page numbers.
Make sure to check the formatting and page number placement to ensure it looks how you want it to.
