Take Ownership of Files and Folders Windows 10
You may get the below messages when you try to open a folder in Windows 10:
/”You don’t currently have permission to access this folder/”
Click Continue to permanently get access to this folder
When you click the ‘Continue’ button
You get another pop-up message that says…
/”You have been denied permission to access this folder/”
To resolve the above issues, you need to take ownership of the respective Folder.
The same principle shown in this video can be used to take ownership and get access to Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 Files and Folders too.
