As you probably know, the default location for Windows notification popups is the lower right corner by the system tray//clock. But if you want your notifications to appear at the lower left, upper right or upper left, you can use a free app called TopNotify to do so. You can even choose a custom spot on your desktop for the notifications to appear. There is also an option to set the notifications to be transparent as well as a click through option which will let you click on files or folders behind the notifications.
