Service host network service causing high network/cpu/memory/disk usage in windows ? You can fix it easily by one of these two methods.
Method 1: Delete srudb.dat file. press Windows Key+ R key on your keyboard to open Run. Type sru and click on OK to open C://Windows//System32//sru folder. Locate srudb.dat file and delete/rename it as srudb.dat.old. Restart your computer to apply the changes.
Method 2: Restore health of your windows. Search command prompt in windows search bar – right click and run as administrator. Type the following command and hit the enter key
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
The restore health process will take some time to complete. Restart your computer to apply the changes.

Note: The Service host network service will consume high network usage during windows updates. Disabling Windows Update service or Background Intelligent service may temporarily solve the issue. But it’ll come back after restart.
