search bar or search box not working in windows 11 and 10 ? Unable to type in windows search bar? You can fix the issue quite easily!
Press Windows Key+E open file explorer. Go to C – Windows – System32 – ctfmon.
Right click on ctfmon – show more options – send to desktop
Now go to Desktop – copy ctfmon shortcut. Right click – copy.
Press Windows Key+R and type the following
shell:startup
paste the shorcut in the opened folder. Right click – paste.
Press Windows Key+R again and type the following
ctfmon.exe
done! Windows searchbar will be working now and you’ll be able to type and search there!
