Any time I screen share in Teams unless the person at the other end has a monitor with a similar display ratio, they’re going to see a tiny letterbox with black borders at the top and the bottom. This makes it difficult for them to see or read the contents of the screen share.
With a little bit of creativity and tools from Microsoft, you can set up Fancy Zones that map to 16:9 aspect ratios and set the height and width to standard resolutions like 1280 x 720 (720p) or 1920 x 1080 (1080p). Then instead of sharing the entire desktop, share a Window and snap the Window into one of the preset fancy zones. This will make it much easier for others to see your screen.
