The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is, in my opinion, still the best standalone drawing tablet for digital art beginners on a budget. Right now it’s being priced as low as $230 by some retailers.

EDIT: This year, Samsung announced the 2024 refresh of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. This costs closer to $300-320 which I still think is a good price, but also, the 2020 version will do perfectly well for a beginner.

If you are a beginner getting started out with digital drawing and painting, then I’d definitely recommend this tablet. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is affordable and offers everything you’d need for learning digital art.
