It’s annoying that Excel did not choose to call Tables (capital T) something else since many people refer to any data set as a table, but, that’s life and here we will deal with getting a Table back into a regular table and removing formatting.
This includes removing all of the features of a Table in Excel and then removing all associated Table formatting.
As well, I’ll cover some things to watch out for when you swtich from a Table to a table and then back to a Table again, which, though not recommended, is often done.
Lastly, I’ll cover how to strictly remove the Table formatting while leaving the table as a Table – did that sound confusing enough? haha
