In this video, I show you how to run a simple test on your Mac (no extra software required) to find the best wireless channels for your wireless router to be broadcasting on. This is done using a built in wireless networking tool in OS X.
NOTE: AFTER DISCOVERING WHICH CHANNELS ARE THE MOST FREE FROM INTERFERENCE, YOU’LL NEED TO MANUALLY CHANGE YOUR WIRELESS ROUTERS SETTINGS TO ADJUST WHICH CHANNELS IT BROADCASTS ON. REFER TO YOUR ROUTER’S MANUFACTURER’S INSTRUCTIONS MORE INFORMATION ON HOW TO DO THIS. (EVERY ROUTER IS DIFFERENT!)
