In order to effectively use transitions and animation effects in your presentations or videos, it’s important to know the difference between the two. Essentially, transitions are applied to slides, whereas, animations are applied to object or elements on the slide. You can apply only one transition to a slide, whereas you can apply multiple animations to objects or elements.
