Permission error – Failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access is denied? I am not the folder owner…? This video shows you how to fix the issue.

I guess this statement means that you are not the folder owner and you cannot carry out the process or task you were about to do? Windows thinks you are not the owner, so denies you access.

It’s relatively easy to change the ownership of a folder and fix the error, but it involves a few key presses or clicks. You could make a mistake because of this, so perseverance is key and re-trying a few times is a definite possibility.

This issue can affect various versions of Windows 10 (I believe this issue can also affect Windows 7 and Windows 8).

Please note that you may need to change the permissions in your other drives (if you have them). I.e. d:// or e:// drive etc, etc.
