Kik gives you two options, either to temporarily deactivate your account or delete it permanently. But remember that if you delete your Kik account permanently, you will not be able to recover it. You can only create a new Kik account once it gets permanently deleted. So, if you are not sure of permanent deletion, you can always go for temporary deactivation so that you can simply reactivate your account whenever you want.
To delete your Kik account using the Mobile app:
Press the settings icon given in the top-right corner.
Tap Help and About Us option
Then press Help
In the search box, type ‘Deactivate my account’ and press enter.
Scroll down and tap the permanent deactivation website
Enter the required information and press ‘Go’
Then open the mail you have received from Kik and press the ‘Permanently Deactivate’ button in the mail.
