The RTX 4090 provides a lot of performance when it comes to gaming. With a graphics card this fast, I was concerned what would happen if I used it on a motherboard which only supported PCIe 3.0. The RTX 4090 supports PCIe 4.0 and with its very fast capabilities, one would think it would require a lot of bandwidth which therefore may be held back on PCIE 3.0. I eventually plan on using this graphics card on another rig which only has a PCIe 3.0 motherboard and so I conducted gaming benchmarks to see if there would be a performance loss and if so how much performance we would lose.
