Microsoft Word got a new shortcut – Paste text only. Wouldn’t it be great if you could just copy and paste a formatted text without having to manually remove the source formatting like font size, type, or background color?
There is a shortcut called “keep text only” or “paste plain text” in other applications like Microsoft Teams. And now it’s available in Word for Windows and Word Mac too! I’ll show you how it works in this video.
Requires Microsoft 365. The shortcut will not be available in Excel 2021 and earlier versions.
