Welcome to my channel /”Whats’s How/” today we will Learn how to set up an out of office message in Microsoft Outlook in a very short video –
How To Setup Automatic Out of Office Vacation Reply or you may call , How to Set an Out of Office Message in Outlook.

1. If you have POP3 Or IMAP Account , The first step to setting up an Outlook out of office reply is to create the text of your out of office message and save it as a template.
2. If you have a Microsoft Exchange account, no need to have or create email template to set up your out of office message using Microsoft Outlook rules.

A. Create an email template.
B. Create Outlook rule to setup OOO Or Out Of Office (For POP3 & IMAP Account)

Select new email

enter the subject for the email to recipient

When you finished your auto-reply message

Enter the email subject….

select File – Select Save As – Drop down to – Outlook Template

Save as type:- Outlook templet .ost

now click – save

let’s create an out-of-office automatic reply rule

select file – info

select manage rules & alerts from the option

select the email rules tab

click – Apply rule on the message i receive

click – next

check box…. where my name is in the To box.

click next.

select checkbox the – reply using a specific template

select the path for a specific template link.

select user templates in file system.

highlight the template you created

select open

click next

find & ( checkbox ) select the except if it is an automatic reply.

Select – turn on this rule

click on finish
