Step1:
Print and Document Services
a. click turn on internet printing client,
b. turn on LPD print service and
c. click turn on LPR Port Monitor
Step 2.
Clear and Reset the Printer Spooler (c /pc)
C://Windows//System32//spool//PRINTERS
Step 3.
Restart the Print Spooler Services
Step 4.
Change Group policy
Computer Configuration // Administrative Templates // Printers
1. Configure RPC connection settings- RPC over named pipes
2. Configure RPC listener settings- RPC over TCP
3. Configure RPC over TCP port =set value 0
Step 5.
Run Printer Troubleshooter (h/pc)
1. Type in Troubleshoot in Windows search and hit Enter
2. Select Additional Troubleshooters
3. Pick Printer and click Run the troubleshooter
4. Wait till the scan is finished, and then apply the proposed fixes
Step 6.
Change the Registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE//Software//Policies//Microsoft//Windows NT//Printers
1. RpcOverNamedPipes= set value data 1
2. RpcOverTcp (default) = value data 0

Control panel
Go to Network & Sharing Center.
3. Click on Advanced Settings.
4. Go to All network Option.
5. Then click on Turn Off Password Protected Sharing.
Step 9.
Add printer manually
Search for Device and Printers
Once you’re on the Devices and Printers window, all you have to do is click on the “Add a printer” that is on the top part of that window.
You can do this by clicking on the “The printer that I want isn’t listed” option on the next window that will pop up once you clicked on Add a printer.
Select the option “Select a shared printer by name”.
Browse the shared Printer and select that.
Than Click Next to Complete the process.
