VIEW IN FULL SCREEN MODE (and please watch an ad so I get a penny.)
OK Google feature keeps saying it is /”Offline./” This video shows a way to fix the problem on a Samsung Galaxy S2. I tried half a dozen other ways and only this one worked. It is simple and easy. 1. Go to the Playstore app icon in your apps screens and tap it. 2. Type /”ok Google app/” in the search window at the top and hit enter, a new screen will appear. 3. Select the /”Google/” app by tapping it. 4. Tap /”uninstall./” Don’t worry, you will not lose the app. 5. It will ask if you want to uninstall the updates – tap /”ok./” 6. The updates will be uninstalled. 7. An /”update/” button will appear when the screen refreshes. 8. Tap /”update./” 9. The updates will download and then install; this can take a few minutes to complete. 10. You may be prompted to select /”Samsung Touch Wiz/” or /”Google Now/” as a default program; pick the one you want (Touch Wiz was the original on the phone). 11. The OK Google function should now respond to your voice commands (give it a minute to get started before you try). Why this works is a mystery, but it does.
