Before inserting a full page background image in Word, you need to decide if you want to have the same image on every page or if you want a different image across your pages. The procedure for both options is very similar, only the start is slightly different. Once you know how that works, you can do almost anything with it. You can for example create a cover page with a full-page image and then put text boxes on top of it.
