Solution 1: Add a Suitable Hard Drive Name
Step 1 – Click on the Apple logo and open the Applications tab. Launch the “Disk Utility” window.
Step 2 – Select Mac’s hard drive and check its name in the right-side panel. If the name starts with a number or contains any special characters, make sure to make the required changes.
Solution 2: Clear Autorecovery Folder
Step 1 – Open Finder and select “Go to Folder” from its Menu. Now, type in the path of AutoRecovery folder, i.e., “~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.Word/Data/Library/Preferences/AutoRecovery/”.
Step 2 – Press “Go”. Once you’re in the AutoRecovery Folder, simply remove every AutoSave entry and try re-launching Word.
Solution 3: Boot Mac in Safe Mode
Step 1 – Restart your Mac system and start pressing the “Shift” key once you hear the startup chime.
