Microsoft edge won’t open after update if you don’t apply this fix. It was also not working for me so now I have found the solution and sharing it.

1. come to this location
C://Program Files (x86)//Microsoft//Edge//Application.
( or right click on edge browser select open file location 2 times )

2 Rename edge.exe and copy past this name –
msedge..exe
( look we are using an extra /”../” before .exe )

3 Now create shortcut of this ( right click and choose send to then Desktop option )
