Microsoft is adding a Copilot AI assistant to Windows 11. Called Windows Copilot, the new assistant will be integrated directly into Windows 11 and available to use from the taskbar. It will work just like the other sidebars we’ve seen in Edge, Office, and even GitHub. The company claims that it will help make every user a power user by helping them take action, customize their settings, and seamlessly connect across their favorite apps. That opens up WindowsCopilot to a lot of new functionality that developers are creating for Bing and ChatGPT and Bing and for future improvements to be automatically carried forward to Windows Copiator. According to a press release, Panos Panay, Microsoft’s head of Windows and devices, says that the addition of this new assistant enables everyone to become a personal assistant.
