In this tutorial, I will show you how to simply change a .cfg file into a .txt file, and then back to a .cfg file after you are done.
Some people have problems with this because they thought they had changed it back to a .cfg file, but it still opens like it is a .txt file.
What really happens is that when you do that, it is ex.cfg.txt instead of ex.cfg.
You need to right click on the file, select /”Get Info/” and then edit it under file extensions.
