This is another segment explaining how to setup and install anything and everything inside Linux(Crouton). In this video we will be talking about getting a Virtual Machine installed on Ubuntu that will be running on a Chromebook. You can use a VM to run Windows or MAC inside your Ubuntu OS.

Add the following to your source list inside the Ubuntu Software Center:

deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian saucy contrib

To install type or copy and paste the following:

wget -q http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian/oracle_vbox.asc -O- | sudo apt-key add –

Press Enter.

Then type the following,

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install virtualbox-4.3 -y

Press Enter.

Then type the following,

wget http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/4.3.10/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.3.10-93012.vbox-extpack

Press Enter.

Then type the following,

sudo adduser yourusername vboxusers

DONT FORGET TO CHANGE /”yourusername/” TO YOUR OWN!

Press Enter.

***These videos will be based on the Intel processor, so for a few Chromebook(ARM) owners your device may not be compatible with every video that is in this series(Minecraft, Skype, etc…). Although you should be able to do just about 90% of them successfully.***
