For quick access the commands are automatically listed on the Quick Access Toolbar. The Repeat / Redo Change button on the Quick Access Toolbar is a contextual button in that it’s appearance will change depending on your action. The default is Repeat. – It can do more than you thought!

Undo – Undo you last action and undo multiple actions at once.
Repeat – Repeat your last action.
Redo – Redo your previous change.
Shortcut Keys are –
CTRL + Z — Undo
CTRL + Y — Redo / Repeat
The functionality is the same for Excel and PowerPoint.
