Many of us have a legacy collection of DVD’s – in my case, guitar instruction DVD’s. I prefer to play them from the Hard Disk of my Mac or from my phone. This lesson shows you how to easily convert the content of any ordinary DVD into a portable .MP4 file that you can play on any computer or phone WITHOUT the need of a DVD disk reader.
The DVD I use as an example in this lesson is from my favourite Jazz Guitar Instructor, Robert Conti. Robert now sells his lessons as streaming content, so you don’t require a DVD player at all. And I cannot recommend his lessons highly enough. If you want to learn Jazz Guitar, visit RobertConti.com and check out his excellent materials.
Please note, with the right software, it IS possible to unlock protected DVD content and RIP protected DVD’s. I do not explore that in this lesson. Please respect intellectual property.
