I had an issue with my laptop where the screen was scrambled. I tried to boot into safemode, update driver however eventually i took it to a computer shop and they said I needed a screen replacement. (Note that if you screen is black, blank, or does not turn on a power drain method can easily resolve that). Anyway I paid $200 including screen replacement and labor. It was fixed within one hour since that had my model number in stock.
