This is another video in the FastGadgets tutorial series. In this video, I will demonstrate adding a Windows Workstation to an Active Directory Domain.

If you have not yet installed Server 2012 in a virtual machine, please see this video first:

You must also have Active Directory installed:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUbAzPg9kM4

Objectives:
– Boot a Windows 2012 Server R2 in VMware.
– Manage Active Directory user objects.
– Manage Active Directory computer objects.
– Join a Windows 7 workstation to a domain.
– login as local administrator after the workstation is a part of a domain.
-Login as Domain administrator on a Windows workstation.
-Login as a Domain user on a Windows workstation.
-Change the background of the Domain administrator account on a Windows workstation.

This installation will be used for labs using the Lab Manual for Security + Guide to Network Security Fundamentals (5ed) by Dean Farwood.

You do not need to have the book to follow through the FastGadgets tutorial series however.
