Heello YouTube, Matthew here and today, we will be going over more about virtual machines on Mac. In today’s video, we are going to talk about VirtualBox and VMWare Fusion:

These softwares are much like the two I discussed in the last video I uploaded. The only difference is the way they are gotten. I think VMWare Fusion is the better one because it allows us to run VMs from every imaginable platform. This includes the big ones, like Mac, Linux, and Windows. The only downside of the VirtualBox software is that there is no option currently to get a Windows VM on it.

Here are the resources that I used to make this video:
VMWare Fusion: https://blogs.vmware.com/teamfusion/2024/05/fusion-pro-now-available-free-for-personal-use.html
VirtualBox: https://www.virtualbox.org/

The setup process on VMWare did not go smoothly. I needed to manually start from a boot disk in the BIOS settings. You may have to do this If you do, the setup may take much longer than using the two softwares from the previous video. If you encounter this problem, some patience is necessary.

Otherwise, I hope you enjoy setting up virtual machines with either of these softwares. And are able to use them as best as you can.

Always remember, if you like my content, don’t hesitate to like, comment, subscribe and share with this who need it. Have ab awesome day and make sure to do the best with the tech you have. Matt out!
