Make sure Inkscape is closed before proceeding!
First you need to download GhostScript. It is free. Download the correct version for your Windows install 32 or 64 bit. Then install it.
After it is installed you will need to go to CONTROL PANEL – SYSTEM – ADVANCED SYSTEM SETTINGS
From the ADVANCED tab, click ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES. Choose ‘Path’ from the ‘System Variables’ window, and then click the EDIT button.
Navigate to the GhostScript install location. For me that is: C: – Program Files – gs – gs9.19
You need to add variables for the /”bin/” and /”lib/” folder. The easiest way to get the path is to enter the folder, and right click the address bar and choose ‘Copy address as text’.
Once you have one of the paths copied go back to the Edit environment variable window. Click ‘New’, and paste in the address, click OK. Then go back and get the other address and repeat the process for the other folder location.
Click Ok, and now you are ready to open Inkscape and import .eps files using File – Import, or with drag & drop.

Check out some of my designs, and buy a shirt (not much yet). I can’t vouch for the quality of the print or shirts, that’s on the manufacturer, I just create stuff 😉
