I Made the Ultimate DIY Sanding Block – But There’s a Hidden Surprise!

In this video, I take woodworking, metalworking, jewelry making, and hand engraving to the next level by creating a one-of-a-kind DIY sanding block. But this isn’t just any sanding block—it’s crafted using my own handmade tools, features a hidden detail, and is built with a combination of wood, metal, and engraving to make it truly unique.

What Makes This Sanding Block So Special?

Drill Press Turned Into a Lathe – I transformed my drill press into a lathe to turn the front handle and two custom knobs.

Hand-Engraved Copper Logo – I cut a copper sheet using a jeweler’s saw and engraved my logo by hand with a DIY graver.

Custom Secure Knobs – These two turned knobs hold the sandpaper firmly in place, ensuring precision sanding.

Multiple DIY Tools Used – I used my handmade pin vise, bow saw, multi-purpose knife, and awl to complete this project.
